Energy Fuels’ proposed acquisition of VAC represented an important step toward creating a vertically integrated rare earth supply chain, bringing together capabilities from mining and processing through to permanent magnet manufacturing.

With the transaction moving quickly, the challenge was to turn a highly technical story into something audiences could understand at a glance. The infographic used the supply chain as its central visual narrative, breaking the process into five stages and introducing a simple “missing piece” device to communicate VAC’s role in completing the chain.

As the story evolved, the visual system expanded to show how Energy Fuels, ASM and VAC could connect across the entire mine-to-magnet process. Supporting iconography, key statistics and a clear information hierarchy helped make the broader strategic story accessible to audiences unfamiliar with the sector.
